ASSOCIATIONS

An association is the subject of law constituted by three or more persons who, on the basis of an agreement, share and without the right to restitution their material contribution, knowledge or contribution to work for the performance of activities in the general interest, of some collectivities or, after case, in their personal non-patrimonial interest.

An association acquires legal personality by registration in the Register of Associations and Foundations at the Registry of the Court in whose territorial jurisdiction its headquarters are located.

FOUNDATIONS

A Foundation is the subject of law established by one or more persons who, on the basis of a legal act between the living or the cause of death, constitutes a patrimony permanently and irrevocably affected by the pursuit of a purpose of general interest or, as the case may be, to some collectives.

The initial patrimonial assets of the foundation must include assets in kind or in cash, the total value of which is at least 100 times the gross minimum wage on the economy at the time of the founding. The Foundation acquires legal personality by registration in the Registry of Associations and Foundations at the Registry of the Court in whose territorial jurisdiction its headquarters are located.

Documents required to set up an association / foundation

● Identity cards of founding members;
● Property Act of the headquarters in which the association / foundation will operate;
● Owners 'and neighbors' association agreement (for apartments only);
● Proof of initial patrimony;
● The tax record of the founding members / tax certificate for legal entities;
● Copy of a professional accountant authorization (if applicable).
